It is always rewarding and encouraging to hear what our service user’s families think of how their sons or daughters are progressing and what they think of the support they are receiving. We are pleased to share this comment, recently received from the father of one of our service users. Personal details have been omitted but can be verified, and we have been given consent to publish. “Just to let you know B, has been fantastic again and had a great day. He is still here but will be going back soonish. I know there is a way to go but the work you’re doing with him is incredible”.

A big thank you to Manchester Utd FC, who have made one of our service users very happy. Our client was recently diagnosed with a serious health condition and has been thinking about the things they would like to do. High on the list was to watch Manchester Utd, their lifelong favourite team. We made contact with the MUFC Foundation on their behalf, and thanks to their generosity our client has tickets for a home game in January and has also received a team photo and a card from the club. Next Step Support Ltd is pleased to announce the opening of another new property in Finchley. Churchfield House opens on the 23rd of January 2017 and offers 2 x 2 bed bedroom flats and 9 x 1 bed / studio flats. Referrals are being invited now.

In recent months, the London Borough of Haringey have launched their new system for the management and procurement of support services utilising the SPROC Adam platform. Next Step Support Ltd are proud to announce that following an assessment of our company profile, our approach to service provision and method statements, we continue to provide supported living accommodation services to the authority as an Accredited and Enrolled provider.

Expected to be available from the 15th August 2016. Next Step Support Ltd has acquired 8 x 2 bedrooms and 4 x 1 bedroom luxury flats in a purpose built accommodation in Finchley Central. The flats are well appointed and fully furnished. The property has CCTV and access/video phones installed. Lifts provide easy access to the higher levels. Work has been completed on our new build accessible flat at our existing property located in Enfield-Ponders End and a new tenant has moved in to their new home. The location has 24 hr supervision and the flat is self contained and is fully accessible for wheelchair users. Next Step Support Ltd has also acquired another property in the Enfield area. This property will provide 4 single en-suite bedrooms within a shared house environment. Availability expected within 6 -8 weeks. Referrals are invited for immediate consideration.

As the building work on our new large 1 bedroom flat approaches the final stages, we are pleased to announce that funding has been confirmed for someone to move in immediately on completion. Exciting news for August 2016 – We have just secured a lease on a beautiful new block of Studio, 1 bed and 2 bed flats for August 2016 in the London Borough of Barnet in a great location close to local shops and with easy access for transport. The accommodation comes fully furnished and ready to move into. We will keep you updated with progress.
